A quick check of the Internet will show that there are millions of RSS feeds available. They are listed in searchable directories called RSS FEEDS LISTS, and typically these lists are organized by popularity or by topic.

RSS feeds cover general topics such as news headlines, politics, sport, and stock exchange data. On top of that there are specialized feeds for many many topics.

This hub lists a small handful of RSS feeds which are mainly focussed on the topic of internet marketing, that is, marketing on the internet.

What is RSS -- RSS Explained In Simple Terms

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication.

Okay, we need to go a bit further.

RSS technology allows you to display content from various websites. As a Hubber, you can add RSS feeds to your lens, by doing nothing more complicated than copying & pasting a single line of code into the RSS feeds box at your hub.

Webmasters and Hubbers alike appreciate the power of RSS because all the content you want from the other website is automatically updated on your site every time it changes at the originating website. And that happens without you having to do a single thing - once you set it up. And set up is easy peasy.

Why use RSS feeds?

1. Fresh new content is added to your Hub automatically and frequently. And as we know, search engine spiders love fresh meat.

2. Hubpages likes you to have several modules, so your Hub isnt too small... too shallow. Writing several short articles is one way to achieve that. Adding an RSS feed is an easier way. I recommend both.

Where do I get an RSS feed from?

Today almost every publisher and blogger provides a feed because he/she would like you to publish his/her content on your site or in your Squidoo lens or Hubpages hub.

Look for the orange XML rectangles or the more recent square orange RSS logos, and click on them. They are RSS feeds. Just copy these URLs (web addresses) into the blank space for your hub's RSS feed.
